We have a Powerpoint presentation done by staff on a WIN2000 box using Powerpoint 2000. The presentation was moved to a laptop that's set up with WINXP and Powerpoint 2003. When the presentation is opened on 2003, the fonts suddenly run off the bottom of the slides as if the fonts have been changed.

The font is apparently the same font--NewsGothic 20 points. It appears to be in both machines. Do I need to reinstall the font? And, since we have a mix of XP and 2000 OS in my office, are there any other font anomalies you know of?

Many thanks.

martingrau,

First point of call is to check that the same font is "really" on both computers.

When you open the presentation on ppt 2003, then select any of the text boxes, if you then click the "font list" box... is there a question mark next to "newsgothic". If there is then the font is not installed.

Cheers
