There is a font I have in Photoshop that I would like to use in Flash. The font is not under my fonts folder in windows and I don't see it under C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Fonts - but all the "fonts" in this folder have names like _____.pfb if these are indeed additional fonts.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

They are indeed fonts, but they're Postscript rather than Truetype or Opentype. Have a look for ATM on your PC to view them. If it's not there, you should be able to download it from Adobe's web site.

Postscript fonts are commonly used in professional printing workflows, being more reliable than Truetype, but there is a growing trend towards Opentype.
