Thanks for the replies!

By the way the system is a Merlin Legend R7 and the Voicemail is MLM007.

Yes, a customer was asking me about this. He told me that their phone system (Not a Merlin system) was able to go to voice mail when all lines are busy. By your replys I guess that I'd have to set up another mailbox within the hunt group that will take those calls if all the lines are busy.

Thanks again. This is a great form and quite informative.

That would depend on how you define the term "all the lines are busy". Are you talking about the CO lines from the service provider or the group of stations that are part of a QUE or Calling Group? It would not matter Merlin or another system the functioning is the same...

If ALL your Telco lines are busy/in use - you will have to order Telco voicemail for ALL your Telco lines - a bit expensive - since most Telco's charge $12 -$15 per voicemail box. It would be much cheaper to ADD several more Telco lines and use your existing 007 MLM to provide voicemail. That way - all of the voice messages would be on YOUR system - instead of having to check BOTH your 007 MLM AND the Telco's voicemail boxes.
