Following a link to anchor text - can the anchored text be highlighted

Hi all,

I'm trying to make key words more obvious in a webpage containing a lot of info.

Here's the question:

On following a link from one webpage to anchored text in another webpage - is it possible to have a javascript in the original webpage which will cause the anchored text in the other webpage to be highlighted (bold or coloured, etc).

Any help is much appreciated.
