Does anyone know why Follow up flags in Outlook would change from a picture of a flag to the words "Follow up"? If I go under "Format columns" the only option is text. How can I get the picture back??

Thanks!

Right click on the column, select format column. The selection for Available Fields: Flag Status, should have Format: Bitmap with Popup List, rather than Text with Popup List.

Give it a shot.

Thanks VMan, but what I was trying to say in my posting is that the Bitmap with Popup List choice is not listed, nor the Text with Popup list, TEXT is the ONLY choice. So my question is how do I get the Bitmap with Popup List choice back in the list (it was there before and something (?) happened to it) ? My only thought is to re-install Outlook, but I thought it might be something someone else has run into and knew a quick little fix.

Sorry about that J. That's what I get for reading through too fast.

No reinstalling Outlook until you try command-line options. You can find them in technet. Here's a few. You just hit Start-Run and type:

outlook.exe /regserver (to re-register it)
outlook.exe /cleanviews (to cleanup corrupt views)
outlook.exe /cleanfreebusy (when they're not reporting right)
outlook.exe /cleanprofile (2K only I think)

There's others, but I think one of the first two should fix you up...

I might. But, J, now you've gotta make sure you completely uninstall. Do you just have Outlook or do you have Office and which one?

If you have Office, you'll need to get Eraser.

The names to search are Eraser97 and Eraser 2000 (spaces or lack of are on purpose!).

You can check technet or I'll find them for you. I'll need the version.
