We recnetly upgraded our 403 to version 3.1.56, since then the "follow me to" feature will not work. The only call foward feature working is the forward unconditional. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Follow me is not working 3.1.56, you are correct.

Try "Sned All Call" feature. I use it to forward to inside extensions and outside phone numbers.

Having same problem at a client with 3.1.56. Follow me not working.

Is this fixed in 3.1.65?

All:

This is not a bug nor is Follow Me not working in 3.1.x. The problem is that since 3.1.x the Follow Me feature was corrected to work as it was originally designed. It was never supposed to be used for call "off network" or outside the IP Office system. The problem is that prior to 3.1.x you were able to use the Follow Me feature to a outside number. Avaya's documentation always stated that this was for internal calls only. I to used the Follow Me feature for outside calls (usually to a cell phone) however this was not how the feature was ever intended. You now must use the Forward Unconditional feature to accomplish what you want. As a side note, I am Beta testing 3.2. With 3.2 you have a new feature called Mobile Twinning. It is much like EC500 on the ACM platform. I've been running it for a couple of weeks now and I love this feature.

Hope this helps

what is the difference b/t forward and forward unconditional?

I assume you meant "... differences between Follow Me and Forward Unconditional".

Apart from being to internal destinations only, a call rerouted by follow me receives the coverage, forwarding and voicemail treatment of the user it is following.

A call forwarded unconditionally to the same extension would receive the coverage, forwarding and voicemail treatment of the destination (unless the NAT expires and it is pulled back to the orginal forwarder).

So follow me is a way of saying ring over there but apply my call settings. Forward is ring over there and use the settings of over there.
