Folders won't stay closed in OE6 1

When starting OE6 every mail folder that has a sub-folder is open. I close each one, exit from OE6 re-start it and they're all open again. I have not had this problem in the past. I did copy the folders from another machine two months ago but I don't remember when this started failing.

Some of this behavior seems to be from the checkbox to 'Automatically display folders with unread messages' on the General tab in the OE's Tools, Options. Another part of this is 'When starting, go directly to my Inbox folder'.
