When using template and then saving the document in Word as a GM link. The link automatically goes to the folder "template". Is it possible to change this and create a specific automatic folder for all the different templates.

I dont beleive so, however you can change that default location in Word 2003 not sur eif its the same for other versions, by going to tools, options, file locations - select user templates and click modify, you'll be able to browse to another location to set as the default.

whether this is to point to x:\goldmine\template\ or where ever is upto and this change is a local change so will be different on every pc. but the standard location is usually c:\documents and settings\user name\application data\microsoft\templates\

hope this helps.
