Hi,

I have a Win2k Adv server (SP2), with a complex (to me anyway) folder structure, that requires explicit permissions at the lowest level (file level as opposed to root - not too sure about the MS nomenclature).
Is there any way of automating this via a batch file, as the manual process, will be more error prone, and time consuming, two things i cannot afford.
Any and all assistance/advice much appreciated.

Regards

I dont know of any pariculars of what you are doing but restructuring you folders would help if it is possible.(but we all know how pissy users get when you change stuff).

Try looking at this web site also they have a lot of resouces available for just about everything you can imagine

i know sounds weird but is a nice well put together site. Thanks
