We are still getting our new server organized. It is up and running, and in use. The one problem I have is one of the users wants to put a lot of his files on the server in his user folder. I don't have a problem with this. But when he tried to do this, he got a message indicating the disk was full. There is not possible. There is at least 40gb on the main partition. I have two questions:

1) Is it possible just to move the Users folder to the other partition without any problems?

2) Where can I find the disk quota size for each user?

Thanks for the help.

Right click on the drive and check the Quota tab. If there is a quota in place, but you still have space, it is quite possible this user owns files beyond what he is trying to copy to his home folder and thus reached his limit.

to move his folder 'my documents' use folder redirection in gpo

Actually it is not 'my documents' that I want to move. I would like to move the actual 'User' folder on the server from the main partition (60GB) to the remaining 200GB partition. If I move it (a normal copy and paste), will that change anything? Create new problems?
