I want to do a full backup of our CallPilot server to a network folder. I created a shared network folder on a 2000 server and gave it proper share/security permissions. On the CallPilot server which is installed on a 2003 server, I tried connecting to the share network folder by UNC path, a login box pops up. When I put my credentials and hit enter I get this error “The account is not authorized to log in from this station”. Why?

Well, that may not be a very good article :) But it leads to say there is something on the 2000 server restricting you from accessing file remotely. If it is not on a domain, check the local security policy for; Allow access to this computer from the network, or remotely. If on a domain, check your domain group policy.
