Something strange just started happening to my intranet site on my laptop. up until about an hour ago, the web user had read and write rights on a folder and all its subfolders and files.

Now they don't! I don't know why but I have to fix it.

In order to make these files available to IUSTR_LAPTOP, do I have to explicately set the permissions on each subfolder and files seperately? or can I do it once at the highest folder inb the tree and have it propogate down to all subfolders and files??

Thanks in advance,
