My users are having problems seeing documents on their networked home areas. At times they can see them but more often than not they cant. When I log on as a user the application event log tells me
"Failed to perform redirection of folder My Documents. The new directories for the redirected folder could not be created. The folder is configured to be redirected to <\\server\user area\%USERNAME%\My Documents>, the final expanded path was <\\server\user area\username\My Documents>. The following error occurred:
The network path was not found."
I am guessing that User rights or group policy are the problem although I have re-installed DNS recently. Could DNS affect user rights/group policy/network shares as I have not amended any of these recently?
