Hi,
Is there a reason why we have been told not use roaming profiles and folder redirection has been set up?
Our old SBS2003 box ground to a halt with folder redirection and worked lovely with roaming profiles.
If folder redirection has been improved in SBS2011, then fine i have no objection to using it, but how are our members of staff meant to hotdesk without a roaming profile?
I read on Wiki that coupling folder redirection with roaming profiles in fact helps with cross-platform client compatability (i.e. XP / Win7 / Vista) and speeds up logons vs only having roaming profiles
Is this true?
