Folder Protection

I want to protect my folder, but i'm confious with registry ??? Does anyone knows about registry value in windows 98/2000 professional to make my folder protected

im not sure what you want to do.

do you want to make the folder "read only" or "hidden" ??

I think Exofleet means folder can't be opened so people can't open it and grab what contains on there easily, not read only or hidden...but I would like to know how to make a folder just read only folder

i know how to set file attributes but not folder..
