Folder permissions 1

Hi Folks

I am not sure I have my system share setup correctly with regards to their share/security permissions can anyone give me some advice/guidance.

The share are as follows

Pupils$ - this holds folders for year groups and everyone has a redirected my documents folder here
Packages$ - this is were all my applications are held

What permissions should be on the share and also on the security for these.

Any suggestions greatfully received.

Most restrictive applies.

So set the permissions to everyone full control and set the security as you need it.

Is there any reason why you are hiding these shares?

We are hiding the shares so as the kids cannot find them by browsing if you have any better solutions I would be delighted to hear.
