I am running Outlook XP (2002) and have Exchange 2000 as my Exchange server. We are in a clustered environment. My workstation is on Windows XP.
Sometimes when I send a message it seems to sit in the outbox until I click on any of the folders in the folder list, after which the message seems to go "through." While the message appears to be sitting in my outbox, it has in fact already been processed by the server and is just a matter of my machine not realizing it yet. I am having a similar problem where I haven't changed folder views for a while and it seems that I haven't received any messages. Once I click on a folder I see that I do in fact have several messages that are waiting for my attention. Does anyone have any idea why it is doing this? We have yet to migrate to the E2k system fully and I don't want to move forward until I can understand what is going on here.
