So we are using CRS2008.

I created a normal user TestUser and made it a member of group TestGroup.
Next i created a folder called TestFolder.

Now let me put in the rights for Folders.

At top level for All Folders security
Administrators - Full Control
Everyone - Just Granular Rights no access levels.

At TestFolder level
Administrators - Full Control
Everyone - No Access
TestGroup - View on demand access level

So now when i log on to Infoview as this above user i should normally see
Pulic Folders
-- TestFolder

But i see only see My Favorites
Inbox
which is very weird.

But when i log in as a user in the Administrators group the infoview behaves noramlly.

Any ideas as to what i am missing.

Thanks.

Try giving the Everyone group View level access to the top level folder.

Basically you have to have access to all of the folders above a folder in order to be able to see it in the tree in InfoView.
