I have creaed a form which allows me to view serveral calculations that are made when a person enters time value. The time values are entered in a subform and below the subform I created a button and then point the button to open up the form with the calcualtions contained within it.

When I click on the butoon I recieve "Microsoft Access cannot move the focus to the Control "Name".

Once i click OK the page loads and everthing is fine.

Sounds like you need to move focus to something else before loading your page. Try me.parent.setfocus before running the onclick on the button. (Not 100% about the code, don't have access open.)
Or try and set the focus to something on the main page before changing anything on the subforms. Like a textbox or something.

Sorry I couldn't be more help but just start setting the focus to something else and u might get it.
