Could someone pls tell me the best way to FNA a 2616 to an outside number? Can I build an ACD Q with no agents and NCFW the ACD Q to the outside number then change the 2616 FNA to the ACDQ. Note: The 2616 does have a DID number. Opt 11 Rls 21 Iss 54. Thanks in advance.

You should be able to simply add the full number is response to FDN - did you try that and find it did not "take"?

Your idea can work too, but the ACD may need to have the prompt MWC set to YES.

It's certainly worth just trying and testing.

I'll definitely try the FDN and ACD options. I thought there was an internal matrix that does allow an extension call to be FNA external BUT it did not allow a DID call to FNA external.

Also the customer only wants the FNA option and not CFW.

There are a few places where the call could be blocked, but generally the matrix you refer to is in the Customer Data Block OPT area - CFF or CFO are the two choices.

They mean "check the restrictions of the originating TN (CFO) or the forwarding TN (CFF)" to determine capabilities.

But just trying it is always the first step :)

OK. I was able to program the LD number directly in the FNA prompt on the phone. What the customer didn’t say was that they also use auth. codes from the LD carrier. So now when you call that DID number and after 4 rings, there is a recording asking for the auth. code, just like when you dial it directly. So NOW my question is does anyone know how to insert timed pauses into the string? I tried *** but it just doesn’t recognize them. I need to program as follows: (9 1 xxx xxx xxxx) (***pauses) (**** auth code). The T1 is a PRI. Note: I was able to program local and 800 numbers in the FDN and all worked fine. The problem is with LD due to the auth. code requirement from the carrier.

Boy, I don't think you'll ever get that to work consistently. There may be a work-around though - see if you can set the FDN to 9-1010288-NPA-NXX-NNNN ... in other words, try to bypass the carrier.

Or...lets say there is a dedicated PRI for long distance that forces the auth code - bypass that by FDN-ing to the local CO Route ACCD, then 1+the number.

The ACCD values can be found by LD21, PRT, TYPE RDB if you haven't needed to do that often.

GHTROUT is correct. You will not be able to fdn to a carrier are other remote dn and after answer, send them additional digits. All of the digits are sent together.
We have had to point calls to trunks that can dial direct (no access code required) in order to satisfy customer as our work around.
