FMP with JavaScript

I have several HTML pages with JavaScript in them and the forms interact with the FMP databases quite well.

Now, I need to figure out how to set up a username and password page that will work with FMP.

We use a FMP 5.5 Unlimited Server and I a developing using the FMP 5.5 Developer.

How can I create a way for the user to enter their username and password and have FMP then validate that password and use the permissions I can establish on FMP?
