Is there any way to get the time code from a digital video camera or digital deck, connected via firewire, into a data field? I want to just hit a button and have the present time code entered into the data field.

Also, is there any way to control a digital video camera's or deck's transport from FMP 8.5v1?

I know there's video logging software out there, and some use Filemacker Pro, but like the FCP database, they don't have all the data fields I need and I find their layouts to be confusing and hard to read. We all have poor eyesight here.

Thank you
