I am a little confused, does anyone know if in order to use FMFM on a PRI is a LAN CTE also required? We are just going to ring one T7316e and one cell phone that is it. I am not really sure what a LAN CTE is used for?

Lan cte is not required. This is used for a PC to connect via outlook so as it can dial calls from your PC using your phone extn .

FMFM licence is required

Thanks. So for example if a LAN CTE IS active how does it capture phone numbers and dials. Is this like some of the Cisco or Avaya IP office systems I have seen? For example they just click a number on a web or lets say a patients medical folder and then it is dialed? Is that how it works?

Thanks!

Yes generally.
Download lan cte from the bcm system to the PC
Reboot PC and set dialing properties.
set the phone extn to the machine name in LAN cte tab on the bcm before rebooting the PC.
Select the correct tapi line should be your extn number.
