Hello friends,
I hope someone can help me with this: I have FM 8, and need to process eastern european files, i.e. Baltic characters.
These can be displayed correctly using CE fonts.
However, I need to export these files first in MIF 7 format.
Alas, on re-import, special characters, e.g. the Hungarian umlaut character, get corrupted.
Does anyone know a solution for this?
All I could do would be to replace all these characters before import with a special latin combination and re-replace it after import in FM.
That however is error-prone since I could not be sure to have captured really ALL affected characters. They might look good but be wrong anyway...
Thanks for any hint!
