Hi there, I've been trying to figure out a very simple way to create a few flyout menus on my companies website. I've tried to use Menu Magic as well as a few free scripts I've found around with little progress.

My problem is that I'm having trouble getting the sub menus to appear on top of some flash animation I have to the right of the navigation bar. I know the "Z" property is supposed to control this but I haven't noticed any differences in changing the properties.

Also how do you get the rollover effect to work? If someone has a very simple menu that works well and is not to difficult to figure out please let me know!

Thanks

I don't think you get the menu to appear on top of the flash menu.....believe that is the limitation.

Actually I just discovered a way to do it. If you set one of the parameters in the flash movie to:

<PARAM NAME="wmode" VALUE="transparent" />

You are able to see the menus over flash. That solves one of my problems, however I now notice that whenever I hover over my buttons I see a little X in the upper left hand corner of the page. Like there is another image trying to load. Does anyone know what may be causing this? It appears to be at the 0,0 coordinates of the page.
