flushing

i have a list of about 1000 20000 i wish to print to the screen but it takes quite a bit of time to print it out. Is there a command so i can print out to the screen immediately each line or to flush out after every thousands line.

I am reading from a file and print out what is being read to a page. It is over 200000 lines and it takes to long. That is y im lookin to flush out every so often. Does html have a command do that. I am no t using tables. Just reading from a file and then printing to the screen.

if you are using asp then use response.flush
