Flushing the web cache

Red Hat 6.0 running as a proxy server. Need to empty the cache either totally or selectively.

Not good in Linux/Unix, just supporting it... All help gratefully received.

What are you using as a proxy? ipmask or a 3rd party application, or are you talking about the Apache cache?
