I have a report and if I enter Design mode, select the filter button, previous filter criteria is "self replicating" in fields I did not enter. That is, I enter NOT BLANK; when I go out and back NOT BLANK appears in 3 or more other fields at random. The report is based on a query but the query does NOT have filter critieria in it.

PDOX 9, Windows XP Pro

Never heard of this one before.

Try running the report, then selecting the individual field filters (right-click and pick filter). Remove the filters and then return to design mode and save the report.

Tried that - didn't work. I then took all NOT BLANK s out of the filter definitions. No problem then (so it must be picking up the NOT BLANK that I put in). But, when I added one back - it replicates. It doesn't seem to matter which way I add or delete the NOT BLANK - on the field or in the filter list. I did get 2 GPFs in this last test when going in and out of the report design/run.

PDOX 9 build 9.00.368; Win XP Pro up-to-date.

Again, the report is based on a query and I re-checked the query to see if maybe that is driving this behavior.

Sounds like you need to re-create the report. That is not typical behavior.

Isn't .368 the original version of 9?

Regardless, I'd get the SP3 for P9.

Cannot say this has anything to do with this issue, but the original 9 did have several issues repaired by SP3.
