Flowing text to pages using multiple masters

I'm going to import a document that will be about 60+ pages long. I have 5 different master pages I'm using. I'd like to make page 1 based on Master A, p. 2 based on Master B, etc. Then I'd like to bring the text in and have it auto flow from page to page. But what it does is autoflow thru page 1, then create a whole bunch of Master A pages and autoflow thru them. If I try to change those pages to a different master,say master B, it doesn't move the text to the position of master B's text frames.

Is there a preference I need to fix? Or is this a manual text flow project?
