floppy works in safe mode bot not normal mode

my floppy will work ok in safe mode but in normal mode i get an error "a: is not accessable. Incorrect function"
I use win xp home. Have tried reinstalling etc. No luck

I think your floppy drive in not compatable with windows XP. I read somewhere that if you want to install something that you think is not compatible with Windows XP and you should try installing it in safe mode instead. so this may be your problem!
