Floppy Help?

I updated to windows xp pro and my external floppy drive isnt working. Its hooked up to the parallel port but it doesnt show up. any suggestions?

Sounds like you need some updated drivers.

Give the wrong symptoms, get the wrong solutions.

make sure that the parallel port is configured properly from the bios. Check your floppy's manual for the configuration. Then try "Add/Remove Hardware"
