Hi I need to FTP a keycode file to a CS1000M system that is based on CP II processors with floppy drives.

I have totally forgotten the designator for the floppy drive, as it was years since I worked on a floppy based system. I am far more used to /rmd for the later series machines.

Can anyone remind me please?

Should be F0 or F1 depending on what CPU is active

You can find this information under LD 143 in the NTP's

It's a little tricky, but the easiest way I know is to copy the file onto the hard disk such as /u/db etc and then access "pdt" afterwards to copy it across onto the floppy drive by using e.g.
cd f0
ll
cp /u/db/keycode.rec .
ll

It's been a while since I last did it via remote access, but I think the above commands should be some help?.

All the best

If it's working, then leave it alone!.
