floating point representation

Hello alls,

I am a newbie to Tcl. I am at very beginning stage. In my assignment I have to operate with floating point values.
I have to get an exact division value of a division operation with tcl strings. Can anybody please help me either by showing some material online or writing down some tips here? Will be of great help.
