We used Clarion 4 version 3.101 on a Compaq Deskpro P166 with no problems at all.
Now we try to use the same program on a Compaq Deskpro EP 6/350 (Pentium II 350)
When running executable at the DOS Prompt it displays the following error:

WARNING! Error In Floating Poit Value.
Press any Key To Continue,
or Ctrl + Break To Terminate.

- We pressed "any Key"-
and the the final message to conclude and return to the C: promt:

Process Terminated By Floating Point Exception.

Could you give us any advice how to tackle this problem?

Thanks in advance,
Hi there

I am develop program using clarion 3.1 for dos with topspeed file driver, Netware 3.12 and I use overlay field on some file

One week ago may application run with error on File that using overlay field, and this message appear "Invalid Record type" .

I have tried browse that file using Clarion Developer Tools
but still error, and also I have tried using TPSFIX.exe from clarion Windows 5.0.

Someone help me please...

Clarion DOS Version 3.1 doesn't handle the new
pentium chips well with any of the compile methods
except the DOS extender.
If you compile your program using the DOS extender
mode this should resolve the problem.
Good luck
