Does anyone know how to set up a filter or formula that will display only one record of a group of objects.

Such as for all records with 0003 only display one and 0002 only display one.

Thanks..

Yes,do u have a group by on that column. Display that in gruop header. If u want to display column in detail section then right click that column and then click on format field and then click on commom then check suppress if duplicated

Hi,

Your question is bit confusing. where do you want to dislay record, in detail section or in group footer section?

If in detail section, right-click to format field, under common tab, select check box for suppress if depulicated display string;

If in group footer section, then group it base on the field of "0003" and put the field in group footer section, it will only display once for each group.

rb2005,
thats exactly what I was looking for. Somehow, I forgot that feature.

Thanks again..

If you have nothing in the group footer then place it there. Otherwise, insert a section under the last group header and place it there.

If there is nothing else in the detail section, then suppress it.

Depending on which record you want displayed, you might want to include a sort to get the right record.
