I am trying to flip the axes on a LINE GRAPH in Powerpoint so that the x-axis data is displayed on the y-axis and vice versa. In addition, I want the lines to run from top to bottom rather than from left to right.

I know how to do this using a SCATTER PLOT, but I specifically do not want to use this type of chart as it presents me with other issues.

Thanks!

There is no powerpoint chart - you can have either ms office chart (+ data table) or excel chart (+data) embedded.
In the first case you can copy data table, paste it to excel, copy in excel again and paste with tarnsposition, finally paste transposed data to the chart data back.
If you right-click the y axis you can experiment with available settings.
