Flickering fields in Report Preview CR 11

Hi

Not a super technical question but a very frustrating one. When in Preview if I select a field in the Data section of the report, or just refresh the report, I get a flickering effect over that column, it looks as if it is continually scrolling over that column with the purple colour that is normally used to indicate column selection . It becomes impossible to select a field for editing when this occurs and it can lock the screen for up to 30 seconds. Seems mainly to occur in Text or Memo fields. Sorry but it doesn't show up in a screen shot.


Any help appreciated.

Check the video drivers are the most current for your display card and monitor. Also check the settings for screen size/resolution. See if the problem occurs on a newer machine.

I've seen problems like this when running Crystal inside a Virtual machine with low spec video settings. The later versions of Crystal (XI/2008) seem to require more grunt from the video of your PC.
