When I use this transition it always produces a bit of a flicker in my videos. If I recall correctly this has been true since Premiere 5. Anyone else notice it, and better, have a fix or work-around.

I haven't experienced flicker in Premiere Pro 1.5/2.0 or CS3. You shouldn't being seeing any flicker in transitions assuming you have enough head and tail on the clips.

Thanks. I had seen brief flashes before when I didn't have the clips in each track lined up properly.

I started thinking that additive dissolves might be prone to flicker/flashing due to the nature of the scenes that are involved. I've switched to cross-dissolves and have been happier.
