FLEXlm - delay when starting Acad2002 on workstation

HI.

I manage a small network - 1 NT4 server and 4 Acad14/2002 clients with floating licenses.

The NT4 server runs both ADLM for Acad14 floating license, and FlexIM service for the newer Acad2002 which was installed about 2 month ago.

In the last days/weeks (I don't know exactly when it started), when users start Acad2002 it pauses during the startup of the program for about 10-20 seconds, and then loads normaly.
I guess that during that pause it handles the floating license registration.

This issue is only with ACAD2002 and FLEXlm, and is same problem on all workstations.
Loading Acad14 runs much faster with only few seconds delay.

All other network services are working fine (file sharing, printing, Internet, etc)...
The server is acting only as a file server with some other minor services, and has no CPU or memory overload.

The software environment:
NT4 SP6a server.
FLEXlm versions:
license server UP (MASTER) v7.1
adskflex: UP v7.2
Workstations: Win98se
Network protocol: TCP/IP with DHCP+WINS+DNS on the NT4 server.

Any tips?
Do you also experience similar delay on Acad2002 startup?

We encounter the same delays. Not real sure if there is a solution, but we have not really looked into it.
