Flexible "Count"...Anything like it? 3

Guys,

I won't go into why (very long story) but I need to run a count on a column which is presented in a report.

Nice and simple...

However I need the count to only count the record if it meets a criteria. (It's todays date - =Date()) Can this be done? I can't use a SQL query for reasons that are evident in thread707-1035568 but there must be something reasonably flexbile that would allow me to do this.

Try something like this in the controlsource of a control in the report footer:

[tt]=abs(sum([txtDateControl]=Date()))[/tt]
