flexgrid max rows?

I need to load a rather large recordset (aprox 140,000 records) and populate a flex grid. It blows up at 35,000. Anyone know if that is in fact the max rows count?

Any suggestions or alternatives? I can't split the record set.

You may not be able to split the recordset into smaller pieces, but you don't have to load the entire recordset into the grid. Only load a bit more than what the user is able to see or set a limit of 1000 records in the grid. Then clear and load as needed depending on how the user scrolls the grid. Thanks and Good Luck!
