FlexFile is still available from GrafxSoft.com (

http://www.grafxsoft.com),

but at a rather (IMHO) high price.
At the news server of xharbour.org (open source) (nntp://news.xharbour.org) someone sort-of announced trying to port ClipX library to xHarbour, maybe that helps? but the xHarbour compiler already supports huge arrays, being a 32 bit Clipper compiler ;-) so switching to xHarbour alone could help here.
