Flattening

Anyone have any problems with this? I must have a complex file. I have embedded and I have also worked with the images linked and have not had any success getting it to print a pdf. The Save As PDF hoses up, so I thought to take it in smaller steps. I discovered that the flattening process also stops which would be the reason for the PDF to hose since it prints with a mid step of flattening the file. Working to hard to make this $500 Piece of Software work when the free trial version worked just fine. Don't know, any suggestions to get a pdf from the file would be greatly appreciated.

If you're having problems with your paid version of AI while your trial worked fine, you might not have completely uninstalled the trial before loading the paid.

That would mean running the uninstalll under windows and trashing ai prefs. It would also be helpful to not run antivirues software while installing AI.
