HI

I have a flat file destination file that is then used for an import into another program. it works fine except if the CALL.TEXT01 information as a carriage return it then shows like below, where in fact I want it as one line as the example below. I cannot figure out how to get rid of carriage returns or space in the flat file destination. Anyone have any ideas please. Thanks

AS IT IS NOW

"CALL.ID",CALL.TEXT01
"3351493",CALL OFF

** VERY IMPORTANT ** NO DELIVERIES AT SCHOOL TIMES - YARD IS OPPOSITE SCHOOL

HOW I NEED IT

"CALL.ID",CALL.TEXT01
"3351493",CALL OFF ** VERY IMPORTANT ** NO DELIVERIES AT SCHOOL TIMES - YARD IS OPPOSITE SCHOOL

Hi,

Is there only a single carriage return per "line"?

I have used the replace before to clean a line break in sql (characters 10 and 13).

SQL:
  select replace(replace([ColumnName],char(10),''),char(13),'') as ColumnNameCleaned
    from TableName

Not sure if this will assist you.

Thanks
Michael
