Flashing FWD/DND button on TA824 1

Is there a way to turn off the flashing light on the phone when Forward B/NA to voicemail is assigned? I want to keep the forwarding assignment but lose the light. It irritates the user. Thanks

no cant be turned off. I have seen people tipex it out

Try this:

To stop the LED from flashing:
Go to the phone that has the FWD/DND LED flashing.
Leave the handset in the cradle.
Press the Intercom button.
Dial 716# (716 POUND)
You will hear a confirmation tone and the LED will stop flashing.
