Flash wont start, quicktime wont start and wont uninstall

Quicktime will not run.
I have tried to uninstall quicktime v 7.1.5 and recieve the msg fatal error during installation.
When I try to run flash 8 it crashes with no error message.

I think it is a problem with Itunes and quicktime conflicting with flash. I require flash and use it frequently am not so keen on itunes yet i'd like to use my ipod.

If anyone can help, I'd be verry appreciative.

QuickTime and Flash do not conflict. In fact Flash actually requires QuickTime for some of its features; (both Macromedia and Adobe are originally Mac software houses, QuickTime always has been the integral part of their products) may be a damaged QuickTime component stopping your Flash to launch. Do a quick search on the net on uninstalling QuickTime. You'll probably need to delete a registry key.
