Flash VM vs. Flash VML 1

I just purchased a VM cartridge off ebay to upgrade my system from the voice mail light version. When I install this new cartridge, I still can't get into AA or CCR functions. Am I doing something wrong or did I get ripped off? (the cartridge label says VM V2.0 and the old cartridge said VML V2.0.10)

If you have Flash Lite it is not necessary to replace the software card. All you need is a keycode to unlock the AA functions. As Pat said you still need a keycode even though you have a full version software card installed.

Shouldn't a keycode have come with the full version card?

If not, how much is a keycode and where do I get one?

Once a VML software is inserted into a flash it is imprinted into the flash unit and can not be reversed!
Inserting a new full version card will not over ride this imprint.

Sell your VM card and purchase a key code!

You can open the flash and short the battery (capacitor). then install the the full version flaash card. I've done it... it works.
