Hi knowledgeable people out there.
Can anyone tell me if it is possible to convert a Flash movie into an MPEG video.
This may be impossible or it may be dead simple, and I hope it's the latter.
Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Not directly with the standard product (as far as I know anyway) but, what you can do is publish it as a quick time .mov (or projector, realplayer, etc) and then use some other tool to convert this to an mpeg. There should be a load of free tools to convert between viedo formats out there on the web.

Anyway, back to Flash: To publish your movie as a .mov just go to the 'file' menu and select publish settings. Check the file types that you want to publish it as (e.g.: .mov), go to the new tab that appears and fine tune any settings you want then hit 'publish'. Your movie will now have been published in the relevant formats (bear in mind that quicktime and so on don't support ActionScript, so any frame jumping is a definate no no!)

Hope this is useful.

:)
