I have several flash animations created from illustrator 9 and want to edit them in After Effects. I can import the animation, play it on the Quicktime plug-in, but can't get the frames to appear in the footage window. Is there anyway to take a flash file and view it frame-by-frame in After Effects 4?
I tried the roundabout way of saving the layered illustrator file as a photoshop file and opened it in Image Ready as separate frames. This seemed to work (to view it in the After Effects footage window), but it seemed to jump through the frames at light speed. I tried setting frame speed to slow it down, but it didn't work.
Is there some better way?
Thanks in advance
