Flash submit button...

I would like to make my own button that will be inserted into Dreamweaver's form. The button is supposed to send the data from a Dreamweaver's form to a php server via post method.
What I would like to know is how to make this happen? Do I have to use ActionScript? If yes, what function should I use to achieve this?

Could anyone please tell me what ActionScript functions send the data from Flash to a script of some kind (in this case to a php script)?
